To some people, their home is everything. Memories, possessions, family, everything they care about most is in their house.
It’s important to remember to make a house a home, to feel comfortable in our own environment. Soft furnishings are the perfect way to do this. They are the only elements that make a house look warmer and more comforting.
Try out a new rug perhaps; it would be the ideal method to warm those toes up on a cold night. Maybe having a look at handmade rugs would be best, if you wanted one to last generations, or to totally contrast the traditional look, a round rug would make a big statement to a near- empty room. Or to make the features of a room stand out, try a rug that highlights them, using any accents colours you may have in that particular room.
Another good investment is to get some new luxury towels, if your current ones are wearing a bit thin, perhaps get some extra fluffy ones especially for the winter, and those particular cold evenings. To still be warm when you get out of the bath or shower is a luxury nowadays, but with some new towels they’ll do just the trick!
From personal experience, everyone knows the difference between good quality new towels, and the ones that have remained at the bottom of the boiler cupboard for a while…! So I’d definitely recommend getting these products before the winter comes again.
I personally, am surprised at how many different types of towel there is; hand towels, bath sheets, face cloths, jumbo bath sheets, bath towels, and in all sorts of fabrics, from Egyptian to Turkish cotton.
There is always going to be a range of styles and colours to match with the theme of your bathroom, wherever you go, just make sure that you choose the towels that are best for you.
